Ignacio Mayorga holds an International PhD in Advanced Studies in the Humanities (2019. UMA), a Master´s Degree in the Social Development of Artistic Culture (2013. UMA), a Master´s Degree in Teaching (2014. UMA) and a Bachelor Degree in Art History (2012. UMA). Since 2015 he works in the Department of Art History of the University of Malaga, first with the National Training Program for University Teachers (FPU, 2015-2019), and now as a PhD Assistant Professor. In 2016, 2017 and 2018 he was Visiting Scholar at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His main line of research focuses in New Spanish Painting, Ibero-American Art, Visual Culture Studies and Religious Art. He has taught in these areas and made multiple publications, lectures and conference communications on the matter, some of them awarded.
